Remember a game later 70s the year they went down. On 6th November my birthday we were 5-1 up at one stage ended 5-3. I know Pop Robson, Billy Jennings & Bonzo were on the scoresheet. Barry Danes was in goal for them.

Lasagnagate 2-1 for good reasons

The 3-4 Berbatov game for the wrong reasons.

The 86 match when they had Ardiles

Mid 70s , Totts in the middle of the South Bank scarves up a la Kop when 2 surges simultaneously engulfed them from alternate sides & all there was left was a gaping hole .
Oh & we won 1-0 .

Quarter Final at home in '81.

The carnage in the South Bank.

Cheers, I knew it was a tight game with only a goal in it.
That was my first morning kick off and I remember being totally fucking lost as to what to do with the rest of the day, getting home by 2.30 was very weird.

That was meant to say the only time I've seen them play us at home was...

Not sure what happened there!

Re: Your memories of Spurs at home?
We beat them 1-0 at home with fat frank scoring but totally over shadowed by Ian Pearce breaking.

Both the 4-3's

96-97 - My first season ticket. Was a filthy night. Anderton dinked one over ludo and it was going well wide until the wind blew it in.

06-07 - went absolutely potty when Zamora scored with 10 to go. Their winner was sadly inevitable the second they broke.

11:30am kick off.
I think we won 1-0 but can't be sure.

Clive Allen came on for them quite late on in the game and went really close a couple of times, looked like he was going to score every time he got the ball.

I think it was the season after he got his famous 49

Eddie - The 4-3 sticks in my mind also as I went to the game with a Spurs friend.

Night game with wind/rain. A Dicks double I think.

Re: Your memories of Spurs at home?
Anyone remember the year match that little firm of Spurs maybe 50? got in the North Bank and kicked off down the front near the corner with the chicken run, they started singing and steamed in as if they wanted to take it, but they were not up the back but down the front with families around, it was packed and didn't end well for them as I recall. I could see it all, but not too well from behind the goal. I think mid-late 70's and sure it was a Sat 3pm?

2nd September 1981 away at WHL, we'd just been promoted and won the cup, Spurs were full of superstars. David Cross 4, Spurs 0. Fantastic.

M11: in my opinion it does, it was a very dark wintry afternoon and the floodlights were full on, so yes.

I remember the 1-0 game when Trevor scored against Pat Jennings...I was in the North Bank with my two Spud mates from school...and a horrible 0-1 game when Ardiles got one of our lads got sent off

Re: Your memories of Spurs at home?
The 1-0 League Cup will take some beating for atmosphere... lot of memories that night with the old man and my unc... strange one was the 3-4 game... as although we lost that was the first game where there was a chink of light that we could survive... 86 was another good un with the deadly duo notching ... remember the 1-1 doc game as well... for years we thought (me and me MATE Smudge) we was on the doc walking up Green street the same time Spurs popped out of UP.... but over the years with better copies I don't think it is !!
